
About the Teacher
Ewa Telega graduated with Honours in Piano Performance from the Academy of Music in Łòdź, Poland and received her Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Piano Performance from the University of California, Irvine.
Ewa was born and raised in Łòdź, Poland. After graduating from the Academy of Music, she immigrated to the United States and maintained a private teaching studio in Long Beach, California for over a decade. Now she resides in Abbotsford, British Columbia and as a member of the British Columbia Registered Music Teachers’ Association, Ewa teaches students throughout Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley.
A vivid performer and accompanist, Ewa frequently performs as a soloist or accompanist at various festivals and concerts in the Lower Mainland. She performed a harpsichord part of the Four Seasons by Vivaldi in the Calvin Dyck Soloist and Orchestra Concert in the Envision Twilight Concert Series in Mission Heritage Park, and also was invited to join the Vancouver Island Symphony Orchestra in the performance of Four Seasons in 2011. In November of 2013 Ewa joined pianist Betty Suderman in performance of two piano part of Brahms’ German Requiem with Valley Festival Singers.
